Decipherment help needed... anyone?

I've got a book with an inscription that seems as if it should BE something -- but I can't for the life of me figure out the name of the signer (signature).  So -- in honor of wanting to get something done today, I'm posting the picture I have of the inscription, hoping that someone else can figure it out.

If you come up with a possible name, please email me & I'll start poking around to see who this is.

If you click on the picture, it should get larger.

The book itself is Hawaii by James Michener.

Interesting. It's in 1960, so that's an early or first printing of Hawaii. Looks like a graduation present--but cannot for the life of me decipher the signature. My guess on the person is "Ben Benedetti."

Unfortunately you can't tell where it was signed to narrow it down. Just Ben Benedetti (maybe) and that he graduated in 1960.
